CAY East conducted a four-day plein air in Mariupol for talented young artists from various cities of Donetsk region. This plein air is special because all participants are the 2019 applicants to the Mariupol branch of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. Artists will get acquainted with the bright Mariupol city, create sketches of marine, industrial, and historical places of the Azov Sea. Some works of talented young artists could become a part of a jubilee exhibition, dedicated to the 240th anniversary of Mariupol.
On the premises of the Akvarel complex, young artists and masters took part in a master class from professional artists. In addition, they gained useful ideas for the further direction of their artistic path when in the Mariupol branch of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. Plein air participants had an opportunity to speak informally to the art teachers and experts, including Faculty of Painting Dean, Oles Solovey.
Teachers of painting and art schools also talked to the chief specialist of the department of artistic and artistic education of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, Ilona Tymoshenko, to find out what the Ministry had been implemented for artistic schools.
